Berkeley
Information Hiding 2012 will be held in Berkeley, California, on the east shore of the San Francisco Bay. Berkeley stretches along the rolling Berkeley Hills and is only a bridge apart from San Francisco. It is home of the world-famous UC Berkeley with its unique intercultural and intellectual flair. Downtown Berkeley can be conveniently reached from both San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK) via Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART).
Also consider visiting IEEE Security & Privacy 2012 in San Francisco the week after Information Hiding. This lets you enjoy two interesting conferences with a Californian style weekend interlude to discover San Francisco or the beautiful landscapes around. Point Reyes National Seashore and Highway 1 are only a few miles away.
Conference Venue
The conference will take place in the David Brower Center, the green Berkeley convention center. It is in close neighborhood to the UC Berkeley campus and only a short walk away from the Downtown Berkeley BART station (see the map below).
